NTR’s speech at the War 2 pre-release event has sparked a heated social media debate, leading to an online clash between Junior NTR’s fans and TDP supporters.
At the event, NTR declared that no one can stop or bring him down as long as he has the blessings of his grandfather, the late N T Rama Rao
According to NTR’s fans, the remark was aimed at those trying to give Coolie undue hype to overshadow War 2.
TDP has been openly supporting Rajinikanth’s Coolie, with Andhra Pradesh Minister Lokesh posting about the film just two days ago and wishing the superstar success. NTR’s fans allege that this was a deliberate provocation by Lokesh.
On the other hand, TDP supporters argue that NTR’s actions amount to a betrayal of the family. They cite reasons such as NTR asking fans to stop shouting when they allegedly called out Balakrishna’s name during the event, and invoking his late grandfather’s legacy.
It’s no secret that NTR and Lokesh are not on the best of terms, despite maintaining cordial appearances in public.
NTR has long been sidelined by the Naidu–Balakrishna family, and while he avoids speaking against TDP, Naidu, Lokesh, or Balakrishna, he also shows no interest in repairing relations. He is believed to be quietly pursuing his own future plans.
Interestingly, some fan groups of Prabhas, Ram Charan, and Pawan Kalyan have also sided with TDP supporters in the ongoing feud.
With Coolie and War 2 heading for a direct box office clash on August 14, the online battles are expected to intensify as the release date approaches.
