Satellite rights of Mahesh Babu's untitled project with Murugadoss were reportedly snapped by Zee Network for a mind-boggling 26 crore!
The deal includes Telugu and Hindi versions of the film. Makers demanded 30 crore, but the deal was finally closed for 26 crore, which is huge by any yardstick.
It just gives an idea about the craze and hype surrounding this high budget actioner. The makers haven’t yet started the theatrical business in spite of getting fancy offers from the distribution circles. Theatrical business will only start after finalizing the title and releasing the first look teaser.
Half a dozen titles were shortlisted and the final title will be announced shortly. The unit is currently in Ahmedabad where the shooting will go on until Dec 23.
Rakul Preeth Singh is playing the female lead in this multi lingual film which will have simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
