Inspiration or Copy: Two Films, One Story!

Inspiration or Copy: Two Films, One Story!

Most Indian writers and directors get inspired by foreign films. Earlier, directors used to lift foreign stories without paying a penny or giving credit to the original makers.

But in today’s globalized world, copyright laws have become stringent, and our makers have stopped copying foreign stories.

Instead, they are now taking a story point, and changing it entirely in their style.

No wonder we frequently see two or three films coming with the same point. Now, two upcoming Telugu films reportedly have a similar storyline.

Nani’s “Ante Sundariniki” is a fun family entertainer, wherein Nani appears as a traditional Brahmin youth.“Krishna Vrinda Vihari” has Naga Shaurya playing a Brahmin youngster.

While Naga Shaurya’s film was launched two years ago, Nani’s film began its shoot last year.

“Krishna Vrinda Vihari” will be released in theaters on April 22nd. Nani’s film is slated for June release.

Besides the hero’s characterizations, there are other similarities like child issues in both the movies. 60 percent of the plot of “Krishna Vrinda Vihari” and “Ante Sundariniki” are said to be the same.

But Nani’s film is more of an entertainer in his fashion.

Is this coincidence or did both the directors get inspired by any other film?
