Tollywood grapevine is abuzz that the makers of Ram Charan's upcoming film, tentatively titled Merupu, are looking to rope in Ileana D'cruz for an item song.
This item song will feature Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi as per the buzz. So the makers wanted to cast a popular heroine as the item girl and have approached Ileana.
Ileana demanded one crore to do this item song and the producer is willing to pay 60 lakh rupees as per the buzz.
It has been a while since Ileana appeared in a Telugu film. Julayi was her last Telugu film after she shifted her base to Bollywood. She doesn’t have many offers in B town and looking to make a comeback in Telugu films.
This would be a great opportunity for Ileana to announce her reentry in a grand way. Ileana however is not ready to cut her price down for the sake of opportunities.
She has lost few item song offers recently as the producers weren’t ready to pay 1 crore for a song. Will she reduce her price tag to be a part of this mega Merupu or not?
