Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi has decided to act in more films henceforth.
The senior star also told his son Ram Charan to stop producing films on their production house as they have incurred losses from “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy”.
The losses made on “Sye Raa” have made Chiranjeevi rethink about his choices. He will be doing two to three films every year from onwards.
Chiranjeevi has already given his agreement to the remakes of Tamil hit “Vedhalam” and Malayalam blockbuster “Lucifer”.
“Vedhalam” remake will likely to be announced on the auspicious Dussera festival. Anil Sunkara will bankroll the project. But the film will only start rolling after the new schedule of “Acharya” resumes.
The remake of “Lucifer” in the direction of VV Vinayak will hit the floors next year. NV Prasad will bankroll this movie.
He will also give his final nod if director Bobby comes up with a proper script next year.
All in all, Chiranjeevi has shortlisted these three films for 2021. He has been taking home a remuneration of Rs 50 crore for each movie.
So, the senior star will earn more than Rs 150 crore in a single financial year.
