But she is lagging in remunerations in the film world. Nayanthara, Pooja Hegde, and Rashmika take home fat paychecks. Nayanthara and Pooja Hegde are getting anywhere in the range of Rs 3 to 4 crore.
Samantha gets just over Rs 2 crore for Telugu/Tamil films.
Buzz is that she has set a new target to cross Pooja Hegde in getting remuneration. She has signed Shiva Nirvana’s “Kushi” and a film with Tamil superstar Vijay.
If these films become big hits, she may demand money equal to Pooja.
