Director Trivikram Srinivas had crafted a brilliant mythological-themed script for Allu Arjun (Bunny), which the actor liked very much.
Trivikram and the production house waited for over a year, hoping Bunny would commit to the project. However, Bunny shifted his focus to another film, which came as a shock to Trivikram.
Though Bunny says he will do Trivikram's film, he's asking for another six months’ wait. This delay has put pressure on both Trivikram and the production house, prompting them to consider alternatives.
As a result, Trivikram has now started working on a film with Ram Charan and is also planning a movie with Venkatesh in the meantime.
The plan appears to be: Trivikram will work with Venkatesh in 2025–26 and then with Ram Charan in 2026–27. But what about the powerful mythological script initially written for Bunny?
According to reliable sources, the story might now be pitched to NTR. Given the mythological angle, NTR is seen as a perfect fit, and he's unlikely to say no.
If the Ram Charan project faces delays, Trivikram might begin the NTR film right after completing the Venkatesh movie. Announcements are expected in the next week or two, bringing more clarity.
Here’s an interesting twist: NTR’s upcoming film with Nelson is also under the Sithara Entertainments banner — just like Trivikram’s film. So, if things align, Trivikram’s film with NTR would happen after the Nelson project.
