The honeymoon at the box office is over for Saaho, the biggest action film from India.
As expected, the film had witnessed a steep fall in collections on the first working day since its release. The drop is huge considering the enormous price tags it was sold for.
The first four days at the box office had given a feeling that the film has braved the flop talk and won the appreciation of the people that matters, the ticket paying public.
But it is now evident that Saaho's soaring collections in its first weekend were all because of the pre release buzz and hype.
The word of mouth remained negative irrespective of collections and the real 'power' of its content is out in the open now.
Saaho collections dropped in Hindi, but it has surpassed Rs. 100 Cr Nett mark, which is an achievement in itself.
The film still needs to recover a lot and the early box office trends on Wednesday indicate that it is going to be an uphill task for the film to go anywhere close to the breakeven mark.
Producers are promoting the gross collections of Saaho to make it look like a gigantic blockbuster, but in reality the film still needs to collect nearly as much as it collected till now.
