After taking a decent a start at the box office in its first weekend, Puri Jagannadh’s message oriented masala mix Ism has suffered a drastic fall in week days.
Pathetically low turnout on its day 6 clearly indicates that the film is heading towards another disaster for the maverick director.
Ism makers have been claiming that the film is a common man’s hit and trying to keep the film in news with Bollywood remake updates.
However, film buffs have clearly rejected this stale template film from Puri that has no substance. Ism’s day 6 share in Nizam is just over 3 lakh rupees, which is horrendous by all means.
As Kashmora, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay are releasing on this Friday, Ism has a little chance to pick up over the weekend.
The film has collected around 9 crore share until now and it may add another 2 crore by the end of its theatrical run if there isn’t any miraculous rise in its business. So buyers are looking at a loss of minimum 40% of their investment.
Kalyan Ram should compensate these losses with his next production with NTR as per prior agreement.
