India-Pak ceasefire happened. Everything looked peaceful, but the atmosphere in AP and Telangana is different — both on the political and movie front. This week can be called the week of conflicts.
First is the conflict between KCR and Kavitha that has been in the air for quite a long time. Now, it has become open, exposing power politics within the family of the BRS chief. Who will benefit from this is a different question, but the topic has become a point of discussion in Telangana politics.
Next is in AP, where the tiff between Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and Vijaysai Reddy has become ugly. Until some time ago, there used to be some sympathy for Vijaysai Reddy when he walked out from YCP. But as the CCTV footage of Vijaysai Reddy meeting a TDP leader discreetly — before lambasting Y S Jagan — has come out via The Wire, many in YCP started feeling disgusted about Vijaysai Reddy. This has made the conflict between Y.S. Jagan and Vijaysai Reddy even stronger.
The last but not least is the fight between the film industry and Pawan Kalyan. Pawan Kalyan alleged that the film industry is not showing gratitude to him and the AP government, in spite of helping them with ticket price hikes and more. Allu Aravind held a press meet today supporting Pawan Kalyan. However, holding press meets on this subject puts down the film biggies, as the conflict between exhibitors and producers, as well as the government and the film industry, can be resolved with silent meetings.
Here, the point to be noted is that these conflicts are between closely bonded members who have now grown distant due to these very disputes.
