United States of America: The tastes of ‘Godavari’ flows into Chicago - Mid-West city gets its first authentic Telugu restaurant.
After spreading joy across various cities of the United States of America, the Godavari restaurant has made a foray into Chicago city. A unit of the Godavari Group of Restaurants, ‘Godavari Chicago’ will be inaugurated on Saturday, November 21st, with a grand celebratory buffet.
Located close to Indian community, Godavari Chicago has come up on the West Golf Road in Schaumburg locality that is close to the New Patel Brothers.
On the day of the launch, the restaurant made arrangements to serve items like “Gundamma” Gari Gaarelu, "Pedarayudu" Pesarattu, "Naidu" Gari Naatu Kodi, "Pitapurum Peethala Vepudu", Alwal Paya Soup, along with desserts like Rajamouli Rasgulla, Kakinada Kaaza, Bammagari Chakara Pongali etc., that will transfer guests to their native place/s in Telugu States.
Commenting on the launch of the new restaurant, Mr. Koushik Koganti, Godavari Group said, “We are very happy to have expanded our network to Chicago city, that has a large Indian community in general and Telugu community in particular. Run by a young and vibrant team, Godavari Chicago promises a memorable experience each time to our guests who miss authentic food of their native place/s.”
Renowned films songs lyricist Chandrabose garu and other well known Telugu singers will be visiting Godavari Chicago on Saturday morning for breakfast and to wish success to the Team running the restaurant.
Equipped with a fully operational bar, the restaurant will serve amazing appetizers like "Kingfisher" Special Wings and "Raajolu" Royyala Vepudu. In addition to the restaurant, Godavari Chicago has a specialized catering team.
Recently, the Team in New York provided catering service for over 850 guests including film actors Jeevitha and Rajshekar, who applauded delicious food of ‘Godavari’ at a TLCA event.
With a wide network of restaurants and a variety of specialized food, the brand ‘Godavari’ is fast emerging as the ‘Google for authentic Indian food’.
