Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan has landed in legal trouble over the purchase of agricultural land in Alibaug.
Reports state that the land, located in Thal village, was originally allotted to the Khote family in 1968 strictly for cultivation.
The government had set conditions that it could not be sold, transferred or mortgaged without the District Collector’s approval.
However, in May 2023, heirs of the Khote family, Anjali, Rekha and Priya Khote sold the property to Suhana for Rs 12.91 crore without permission.
Advocate Vivekanand Thakur has called this a violation of legal terms, saying action must be taken against everyone involved.
According to documents, Suhana paid Rs 77.46 lakh during registration, and her name was recorded as a farmer.
The land was registered under Deja Vu Farm Private Limited, reportedly owned by Gauri Khan’s mother and sister-in-law.
On the work front, after her debut in The Archies, Suhana has signed King, starring Shah Rukh Khan and several Bollywood stars. The film’s release has been delayed due to SRK’s injury.
