It is a known fact that there are some very popular Telugu associations abroad that have been formed to unite the Telugu people living there. But if one looks at the story behind the scenes, they are full of political and caste feelings.
Though thousands of dollars are spent to make the associations’ names popular, it is all going waste due to their hidden agendas.
It is a norm for various associations to hold lavish programmes and invite film personalities from here. However, of late, many such Telugu associations have mushroomed abroad. Due to this, the quality of their programmes is headed south. There have been times in the recent past, when the organizers were unable to bear even the visa charges of the film folks. A particular incident relating to a similar organization, have left many film people both surprised and worried.
