Apparently, the software guys who are used to visiting shopping malls every other weekend have now stopped going there. Now, there is news that they have taken a further step by going to the grocery malls all by themselves since taking spouses would lead to them getting tempted and wanting to buy more leading to more expenses.
Even kids are not being allowed to come since they would expect something for them and this again means some more expenses. The IT folks are aware that this is just a temporary phase and would pass off but till such time, they want to lie low and let the storm pass through so that the glory days can be got back.
