The fangs of recession have been quite venomous this time and there have been many tales of lives getting ruined and careers getting smashed in just few hours due to this. Though the heat has been felt strongly in countries like US and other European nations, it must be said that even the Indian companies suffered badly. Top among them happened to be the IT companies and so it became more of a struggle for survival than existence for the employees.
With many lady employees working across various IT and BPO firms, a new problem is said to have risen. Undisclosed sources revealed that few of the bosses of these software firms took the layoff as a tool and made use of it in exchange for sexual favors from their lady employees. While those who had integrity and courage stood up and walked out of such things without a second thought, there were quite a number who had to compromise due to the various pressing demands in life. In some cases husbands lost their jobs and depending only on wives’ salary. In that scenario, some bosses took advantage, say sources.
Apparently, the lady employees revealed that they had to save their jobs which were crucial and for this a ‘couch casting’ sort of thing was happening. While the debate has been on between the senior bosses and the lady employees, it must be said that the recession has brought out the dark side in people and they were satisfying their lust by exploiting the helplessness of the employees. Though these are tales that never come out into the open and are definitely not discussed, it must be said that sex seems to have no specific domain and it has reached even the corporate walls where favors are taken and sometimes forced upon.
