The most talked about name in the nation is that of Baba Ramdev and this is not about his yogic asanas, it is about his fasting and fighting against black money. This new initiative from the yogi baba is reportedly giving an unsettling feeling to the real estate dealers.
Harpreet Anand, a noted builder based in Delhi said “If the government connects to Baba Ramdev’s agitation and comes up with measures against the black money then we will be in trouble. Those who had black money invested in lands and created ventures by plots and villas.”
He added “If the transactions process is streamlined then money circulation will get affected. Everything on paper, everything through cheque will complicate things. How will business happen? This should not be the case as it will result in downfall of the market.”
Few others felt it can affect free economy. For now, it looks like Baba Ramdev has become a nightmare for the realtors.
