Opinion: 2010 Cannot Welcome Communal Riots

Gone are the days when a slight prompting would get the youngsters to wield their knives and create havoc.

This is in particular to the Muslim youngsters who are known for their hot headed nature. Coming to 2010, the latest announcement on Ayodhya and its after hours has given a good example.

Awareness has increased among today’s generations and the other reason is that majority of Muslim youths are employed. They are not getting lured by the terror camp scouts and they are focusing on their job. The most flourishing line in the recent years has been the cab business for them.

Moreover, many have been through the 1992 riots and other skirmishes. They have realized that it is only losses to their lives and peace but nothing else which prevails.

So, for now, it looks clear that the people are not interested in digging old bones, it is only the politicians who must do something or else people are peaceful.
