North America Telugu Society (NATS) is a premier service oriented Telugu Organization in North America. In true spirit of service, to help visually impaired, NATS is arranging cultural programs by a phenomenal dance troupe comprised of young visually impaired students of Sri Ramana Maharshi Ashramam for Blind (SRMAB) School from India in all major cities of USA between September 25th and December 5th. The SRMAB is a school focused on advancing the needs of blind students for the past 40 years and helped thousands of Blind students across India.
Telugu Fine Arts Society (TFAS) joined hands with NATS for this noble cause in New Jersey. NATS in partnership with TFAS is conducting this Service/Cultural Initiative on Gandhi Jayanthi, October 2nd, Saturday Evening at 6:00PM in Shri Krishna Vrundavana temple in Edison, NJ.
Admission is free for this event and all the net proceeds of this event would go SRMAB School. Please refer to the following links for more details:

The SRMAB is a school focused on advancing the needs of blind students.
The unique dance performance would include Bharathanatyam, Telugu movie songs, Folk Songs, Kuchipudi, Bhangra, Semi-classical devotional songs, Kollatam and Dance Ballets. The uniqueness of the performances can be attributed to the fact that these highly difficult traditional forms of classical dance are performed by visually impaired kids. That is what this tour is about – showing the sighted world what people with visual impairment or blindness can accomplish. In our endeavor to support blind children, NATS and TFAS is seeking help and active participation from the NJ community and we invite everybody to attend this event and join hands & hearts to help educate blind children in rural India.
