Kalamandir, the renowned saree showroom in Andhra Pradesh, was awarded “Power Brand Rising Star Award” for the year 2012 and Mr. Prasad Chalavadi (Founder, Chairman and Managing Director – Kalamandir) was facilitated with “Power Brand Rising Entrepreneur of the year award”.
The two prestigious awards were presented on 29th August 2012 in amid of dignitaries, business tycoons, bollywood icons, celebrities & socialites from India and UAE at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai. An initiative by Planman Media, the Power Brand Signature Series event was supported by His Highness Sheikh Nahayan Bin Mabarak Al Nahayan – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, UAE. On his behalf, Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State graced the evening as the chief guest. Special guests were His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Bin Abdulaziz Al Shehhi – Under Secretary - UAE Ministry of Economy, His Excellency M.K. Lokesh – Indian Ambassador to UAE and His Excellency Sanjay Verma – Consul General of India to Dubai. A spectacular fashion show specially put together by Ace Designer Manish Malhotra was one of the highlights of the evening.
