YSR congress party supporters gathered in Detroit, USA on Friday, 14 th December to express their support and solidarity to Y. S. Sharmila, who has been undertaking Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra on behalf of their leader and YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jagan. They organized the meeting on the occasion of the praja prasthanam crossing 50 day mark.
They appreciated Y. S. Sharmila who is following the footsteps of the great leader, Dr.Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy in understanding the issues of struggling farmers and poor people of the state and to create hope in their lives. During the event they welcomed the congress party leader from Telangana, Mr. Ramachandra Reddy to YSRCP by putting the party Kanduva on his shoulder and invited him to officially join the party.
The supporters who gathered here said the people of Andhra Pradesh are very determined to overthrow the current congress government and teach a fitting lesson to Chandra Babu Naidu who never played the opposition party role and who is publicly supporting the ruling party to protect his selfish interests. They said they are eagerly waiting for the coming assembly and parliament elections in order to see Y. S. Jagan as the chief minister of AP who can bring back the golden regime of Dr. YSR. They are prepared to take active part in the coming elections to help YSRCP sweep the maximum number of seats. They observed 2 minute silence on this occasion to remember the Connecticut school shooting victims.
