
NATS would be conducting a Candlelight Vigil in all Major Cities in U.S. tomorrow (Friday, 10/26/2012) at 7PM, local time. NATS requests active participation of all Telugu people and community at large to join for this, across the country to show solidarity to the parents of 10 month old, "Saanvi Venna" who was abducted from her home in King of Prussia (Philadelphia) on Monday October 22nd. Local police and federal authorities are investigating the abduction of little Saanvi and the killing of her grand mother, Satyavathi Venna, 61.
NATS partnered with TV9 in conducting the Candlelight Vigils across the country, to spread the word for speeding up the search efforts.
NATS local team in Pennsylvania is working closely with the authorities, local association TAGDV and the local community in the rescue efforts. NATS also would be meeting Nirupama Rao, Indian Ambassador to expedite the search operation of FBI and the local authorities to find Saanvi Venna.
Our prayers and thoughts are with the Venna family. Our condolences to Mrs. Satyavathy Venna, we pray that her soul rest in peace and for the safe return of Saanvi.
