In a dramatic development, key leaders from Balochistan have officially declared independence from Pakistan, renaming the region as the Republic of Balochistan. This bold move marks a major shift in South Asia’s geopolitical landscape and is already drawing global attention.
Prominent Baloch activist Miryar Baloch took to X (formerly Twitter), expressing strong support for India’s recent stance urging Pakistan to vacate Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
“Balochistan fully supports the India decision of asking Pakistan to vacate PoK,” he posted.
The newly-declared Republic of Balochistan has formally appealed to the United Nations for recognition as an independent nation. They are also seeking international financial aid to stabilize and build the fledgling republic.
The National Anthem, emblem and Visa-On-Arrival for Indians is also formally announced, though the implementation is yet to happen.
