At the peak of the mega scam, crafted meticulously by Ramalinga Raju, and unfolding at Satyam, several Satyam loyalists had taken it on themselves to protect the company’s brand identity. Well, there were some Raju lovers who had landed outside Chanchalguda prison as well bearing their Satyam love on their sleeve. Publicly too, some associates of the firm would defend the company’s work culture and even ethics. People watched this patriotism with great wonder. But it now turns out that things have changed. The once proud Satyamites have now jumped jobs and are now seen publicly sharing juicy tidbits of the scam that unfolded. But it is a case of too little too late, with people already too familiar with all that had gone wrong.
