What is BATA Cup?
BATA & Service Oriented Solutions present 10th edition of BATA Cup. It is an annual 6-overs-6-aside tournament to raise funds to Sankara Eye Foundation (SEF). This event is conducted in Bay Area, California every July.
Proceeds
All the proceeds of the tournament go to Sankara Eye Foundation (SEF). BATA is a recognized "Partner in Service" in SEFs quest to eradicate curable blindness in India.

Men - For professional cricketers who participate in cricket leagues
Women - Shorter grounds, shorter pitch, soft tennis balls, throws allowed. No practice necessary
Recreational - Based on popular demand, we decided to include Youth into BATA Cup this year. Along with youngsters, teams that enroll into the tournament for sheer fun can enroll in the Recreational category.
When & Where?
This year games will be conducted in Fremont as well as San Ramon.
June 29th/June 30th - San Ramon (thanks to San Ramon Cricket Association)
July 13th/July 14th - Fremont (thanks to Cricbay and Tennisball Cricket Association)
And here are the surprises:
* The tournament will be kicked off by an Indian Cricketer
* Semis & Finals will be hosted under Floodlights on July 20th
* This will be a gala event for participating teams, families + spectators - Jumper and fun activities for kids, food, music & lot of gala events planned
* Lot of local dignitaries will grace the event
* "Special Surprise" - Indian Cricketer(s)expected to grace the finals and distribute the prizes
