YSRCP Phoenix NRIs Mark YSR Vardhanthi

Phoenix, Arizona | August 31, 2025 — YSRCP Phoenix NRI Committee organized a Blood Donation Drive in partnership with Vitalant, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit blood and biotherapies healthcare organizations, on August 31st from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The initiative was held in commemoration of the 16th Vardhanthi of Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

The event was virtually inaugurated by Sri Aluru Sambasiva Reddy, YSRCP State General Secretary, Global NRI Coordinator, and Former Advisor to the Chief Minister (Education).

Proceedings began with floral tributes to Dr. YSR, followed by a special audio-visual presentation reflecting on his life, achievements, and lifelong commitment to public welfare. Committee members recalled their experiences with Dr. YSR, sharing stories of his humility, courage, and people-centric governance.

Addressing the gathering, Sri Aluru Sambasiva Reddy praised Dr. YSR as a “Leader of the Masses” with an unparalleled bond with the people. He emphasized the importance of supporting Former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in advancing Dr. YSR’s vision for the development of Andhra Pradesh. Commending the Phoenix NRI Committee, he noted that the blood donation drive reflects Dr. YSR’s principles of service and giving back to the community.

The event was organized and attended by: Soma Sekhar Reddy Yarrapureddy, Adi & Rekha Morreddy, Rukman,  Vamsi Eruvaram, Chenna Reddy Maddhuri, Dheeraj Pola, Rukman, Ramesh, Sreedhar Chemidthi, Anji Reddy, Indrasena Reddy, Nagesh Porla, Vema Shekhar,Vignesh, Konda Reddy, Gnanadeep, Ajay Kalva, &  Nagi Bonam.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks to Vitalant, along with appreciation for all the volunteers, organizers, and attendees whose efforts made the event a success.

The Phoenix NRI Committee reaffirmed its dedication to upholding Dr. YSR’s legacy of service, compassion, and community welfare.
