Chiranjeevi’s younger daughter Srija and her husband Sirish Bharadwaj visited Vijayawada Kanakadurga temple on Friday. They reached the temple in a car at around 6 p.m., where they were spotted by Madhira Prabhakara Rao, a member of the trust board of the temple. Mr. Prabhakara Rao took the couple to the sanctum sanctorum.
An blessing was given to them by temple priests after completion of darshan. The couple’s visit remained a closely guarded secret until the last minute, and only a few pilgrims could recognise the couple while they were leaving the temple. The couple left the temple in a hurried manner.
Mr. Prabhakara Rao said that he too did not have prior information about the couple’s visit to the temple.
