YS Jagan Wants Voting on AP Capital

Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that a discussion should be held in the assembly about the new capital of Andhra Pradesh.

Jagan added that Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu should be ready for the discussion on the new capital and the time duration about this debate should be informed to all the members.

Jagan also said that if Chief Minister announce the new capital without any consent from the opposition party, then there would be nothing to discuss about it after the announcement is made.

Jagan proposed that voting should be held in assembly after the discussion about the state capital is done.

We have earlier reported that Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu will the announcing the new capital of Andhra Pradesh on September 4, 2014 in the assembly hall.

YSRCP leaders are unhappy with this and questioned the ruling party that how they can decide about the capital without discussing it with the opposition party.

On the other hand, former minister C Ramachandraiah ordered for a discussion about the state capital in legislative council yesterday.

This led to a fight between ruling and opposition parties. Speaker adjourned the house for 10 minutes and started the session after that.
