Mr.Sridhar Chillara awarded the 2014 NATA & ATA prestigious Media & Journalism Excellence Award.
There are two major telugu associations and every once in two years, they honor the highly talented & notable personalities who have excelled in their professions.
It is very rare that two major organizations honoring Mr. Sridhar Chillara, CEO, TV5 North America, mana TV and UnI TV at the same time and in same year.
Mr. Sridhar Chillara has been selected to receive the 2014 NATA prestigious Media & Journalism excellence award & ATA Media excellence Award. Both organizations NATA & ATA recognized him for his “contributions and accomplishments in media & Journalism,” according to the award letters received from Awards Chair Dr. Meher Medavaram and ATA President Karunakar Madhavaram, NATA convener Bala Indurti and NATA President Sanjeev Reddy & Mohan Patlola, award committee member.
Mr. Chillara is an Entrepreneur and CEO of several Businesses in Software and Media. Mr. Chillara is serving Telugu Community from past 5 years and is a bridge between telugu people in US and India & also with in US, between telugu community & other communities. Mr. Chillara is instrumental in promoting Telugu culture in youth through TV5, mana tv, UnI TV. Mr. Chillara received several awards for his service in the past.
Mr. Chillara is a CEO of Santo Broadcasting Network, a media house which was born few years back and now emerged as one of the nation’s largest media house in North America with in short span of few years for the NRI segment. SBN partners with TV5 globally other than India, owns mana TV, UnI TV, Cinema 5 & represent many India’s national hindi channels. Mr. Chillara also serves individually as the CEO of TV5 news channel, North America and also member of TV5 News’ s senior management team. Mr. Chillara serves as President, Asia chapter for a leading NGO which helps vulnerable & orphans worldwide and NGO –AAI is affiliated with the United Nations and recognized by the US Congress.
Both Telugu Organizations has presented this prestigious award to Sri. SP Balasubrahmanyam also.
