YSRC Gets More Strength In Vizag!

YSRC Gets More Strength In Vizag!

The YSR Congress party which is gradually expanding its base in north coastal Andhra districts has received a shot in  the arm with the reports that former minister and Congress party president of Visakhapatnam Pasupuleti Balaraju might join the YSRC sooner or later.

According to the reports, Balaraju, who has a very strong hold on tribal areas of Visakhapatnam, has been feeling inconvenient in the Congress party as there are absolutely no programmes and activities of the party.

With elections fast approaching, Balaraju is looking for some activity that would help him gain support in his Paderu constituency.

So, instead of struggling in the party which has no future in Andhra Pradesh, Balaraju has decided to join another party which has bright future.

Though he considered joining the Telugu Desam Party, he realised that he might not get the ticket in that party in the next elections.

So, he thought YSR Congress party is the best option as it is gradually expanding all over the state and there is little competition for him to get the ticket.

Balaraju lost his previous elections against Giddi Eswari who won on the YSRC ticket. However, if Balaraju joins the YSRC, party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy might prefer him to her, because the former has a larger support base. Eshwari can be shifted to some other constituency, say party sources.
