Tuglaq Rule In Telangana

Accusing Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of harassing the common people, old and students in the name of food security cards, pensions and certificates, Telangana Congress leader and former Deputy Speaker Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday criticized that Tuglaq rule is going on in Telangana State.

Mallu heavily came down on the Chief Minister for forcing the people to line up in queues on roads for welfare benefits.

“With sadism KCR is giving people a lot of inconvenience”, he charged.

Mallu expressed surprise as to why the government was seeking fresh applications for welfare schemes after taking all details through a household survey.

The Congress leader bemoaned that widows, old and physically handicapped persons are forced to stand in serpentine queues for hours together.

The TRS government is indulging in harassing the people which resembles the ‘mad rule’ as that of Tuglaq, he charged.

He took serious exception to the Chief Minister ignoring the plight of farmers committing suicides in the State.

Instead of keeping his promise to transform the new State into a Golden Telangana, KCR is turning his family into a golden one, he alleged.

The TRS should make efforts to fulfill its promises and stop farmers from ending their lives, he suggested.
