TRS MLC Karne Prabhakar on Tuesday alleged that TDP President Nara Chandrababu Naidu was primarily responsible for the ongoing energy crisis in Telangana.
Speaking to media persons here, Karne said that the then TDP Government led by Naidu did not start any major power project in Telangana.
He said that by started several projects only in Seemandhra region, Naidu forced the Telangana people to depend on the other region for their power needs.
He said Naidu's successor Congress Government too did nothing to improve the power situation in Telangana and it did not correct the mistakes.
Karne alleged that Naidu was still influencing the Centre to push Telangana Government into crisis on energy issue.
Likewise, the TDP chief is using his cadre in Telangana to spread propaganda against the TRS Government. However, he expressed confidence that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao would take steps to resolve the energy crisis.
