On the face of it, the Telangana government's single-window clearance process for setting up of industries in the region looks really good.
From now on, entrepreneurs will have to submit their application with the necessary paperwork and if the permissions are not granted within a pre-decided time, then the investor can consider the permission granted. However, in this case, the industrialists will have to self-attest their projects.
The Telangana government has decided to clear applications within 30 days in districts and within 15 days for state-level projects.
The guidelines which were being followed in erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh have been done away with and a new policy in the name of TSIPAS has been conceived.
It would be best if the Telangana government which has been claiming that new industrial corridors would be developed abides by the new policy.
