Telangana Congress Becoming Empty!

Telangana Congress Becoming Empty!

It looks like the Telangana Congress party is being deserted by one leader after the other, following its miserable performance in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections.

Soon after the election results, Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee president Danam Nagender quit his post. Apparently, he sounded to the party high command in Delhi that he might not continue in the party for long.

On Monday, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N Uttam Kumar Reddy accepted the resignation of Danam Nagender on the advice of AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh.

Meanwhile, Ranga Reddy DCC president Kayam Mallesh too submitted his resignation on Monday owing moral responsibility over party's humiliating defeat in GHMC elections. It is learnt all his followers are also planning to quit the party.

While Congress party floor leader in Assembly K Jana Reddy has been missing from the party corridors for the last few days, many other leaders, including a few MLAs, are expected to desert the party and take a plunge into the ruling party. There is no surprise if the party becomes empty in the coming days!
