TDP Ignores Pawan's Speech

TDP Ignores Pawan's Speech

Vijayawada: In a strategic move, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has decided not to over-react to Jana Sena leader and film star Pawan Kalyan's outbursts at Tirupati public meeting on Saturday.

The party leadership has directed the legislators to be restrained while responding to the media on the issue.

TDP leadership seemed to have not been perturbed by the issues raised by Pawan at the meeting. Although he directly hit out at the TDP MPs, he went a little soft on Naidu.

"There is nothing new in Pawan's speech. We have been exerting pressure on the Centre to get the special tag for the last two years despite facing several odds," said a senior TDP leader.

TDP president Kala Venkata Rao said he did not follow Pawan's speech as he was busy touring villages in his constituency in Srikakulam.
