SSC Results Deferred For Lokesh Tour!

SSC Results Deferred For Lokesh Tour!

The announcement of Secondary School Examination (SSC) results is a very important development as it is a matter of the future of lakhs of students.

The governments, too, attach a lot of importance to the SSC results, which are announced in the first week of May every year.

However, the announcement of SSC results in Andhra Pradesh has become a little controversial this time.

Four days ago, minister for higher education Ganta Srinivasa Rao announced that the AP SSC results would be announced at 12 noon at Velagapudi secretariat complex in Amaravati on May 6.

But by Friday evening, the schedule was completely changed and the authorities informed the media that the minister would announce the results at Visakhpatnam at 3 pm.

All the officials of the education department and SSC Board have been asked to come to Visakhapatnam by Saturday afternoon and as per the orders, all of them rushed there.

What is the reason for this last minute change in the schedule? According to sources, Ganta Srinivasa Rao could not leave Visakhapatnam and come to Vijayawada, because his cabinet colleague and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh is touring Vizag. So, Ganta has no option but to accompany Lokesh at all the public meetings.

So, if Ganta can’t come to Vijayawada, then the department will have to go to Visakhapatnam. In the process, the announcement of results got delayed by three hours!
