Srikanta Reddy Vents His Ire on SPY

YSRCP senior MLA Gadikota Srikanta Reddy vented his ire on Nandyala MP SPY Reddy.

He condemned SPY’s move and said that after contesting on YSRCP’s ticket, it was not appropriate to change parties claiming it was for the sake of people.

Contrary to his claims, Srikanta Reddy alleged that SPY defected into TDP due to selfish motives and it had nothing to do with people or their welfare.

If development was really his priority, he should have contested as an independent member said Srikanta Reddy.

How can development be confined to one party, questioned Srikanta Reddy.

He pointed that a responsible opposition party should make the government take up developmental projects and participate in the growth of the region.

Jagan was firm about following values-based politics and his party members would follow their leader in all his endeavors, said Srikanta Reddy.

On the other hand, when Chandra Babu was in opposition, he did not play his part well as the opposition leader said Srikanta Reddy. It was YSR Congress that fought for people’s causes, he pointed out. In fact, Chandra Babu went to the extent of issuing a whip to save the Congress government, he reminded.

Finally, he reiterated that YSRCP members would support every move of YS Jagan and stand by him to help him play the role of a responsible opposition leader.
