Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu said humorously that the incomes of temples were increasing as people were committing sins in greater number and want to wash their hands off by donating to temples.
Now, Chandrababu is no saint from the Himalayas who has had a darshan of Lord Shiva after 20 years of penance. In fact, recently for his grandson's birthday or some related event, he had donated a cheque of Rs 45 lakhs to TTD.
Now 45 lakhs is no small amount for a humble farmer from Chittor who started out with a property of just 2 acres of land.
So, Chandrababu should maybe tell the public how many sins he has committed. How many sins would get washed off by donating Rs 45 lakhs CM JI?
