PVR Vows To Remain In Cong

Former MLA P Vishnuvardhan Reddy, son of former Minister late P Janardhan Reddy has vowed to continue in the Congress party despite any odds and problems.

There were speculations that Vishnu might switch over to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi after his recent clash with Kalwakurthy MLA C Vamshichand Reddy, for which he was reprimanded by the high command.

His sister Vijaya Reddy, who began her political career with Congress and later joined the YSR Congress party, is already there in the TRS.

However, Vishnu on Sunday said he would not like to switch over to the other party at any cost.

He was participating in the 7th death anniversary of his father PJR at Necklace Road, attended by Telangana Congress president Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar and others.

After paying floral tributes to the departed leader, Vishnu said that he will not switch loyalties to any other party.

"I will continue to be a soldier of the Congress party despite any sort of disputes and issues. The congress is our parent party and is known for the welfare of the working class, labour, poor and deprived sections across the nation," he said.
