AP BJP President, Hari Babu made a strange statement. He said that the Congress had no moral right to accuse the BJP over the special status issue.
“How can the Congress blame us now? They have no moral right. Had they included the special status in the AP Reorganization Bill, we would have implemented it straightaway. There is no point in blaming us,” said Hari Babu.
In fact both the BJP and Congress are to be blamed. Coming to that, all political parties are to be blamed for the bifurcation of AP.
The Congress divided the State despite knowing fully well that the Seemandhra people were against it, only for the purpose of making Rahul Gandhi the PM. The BJP in order to bolster its presence in Telangana supported it right from the outset.
The TDP gave a letter in support of Telangana and YS Jagan was forced to remain a silent spectator to bifurcation failing which he wouldn’t have got bail.
Now the BJP and Congress are indulging in a blame game over the special status issue. It’s like two prostitutes fighting over their claim to chastity.
