People Have To Question Him!

Two gigantic projects of KCR have been unveiled, ‘Mission Kakatiya’ and ‘Water Grid Project’. Both of these projects have been valued at Rs 60000 crore over a five- year period.

Including the inflation over this time frame, the cumulative costs can easily turn out to be Rs 1 lakh crore at the end of five years.

In Andhra Pradesh, the YSRCP, Communist Parties and Congress are putting up a good show in bringing the loopholes of the government to the attention of the public.

In Telangana, though, there is no such mechanism. KCR has silenced ABN and TV9 has fallen in line. Potential competitors from the opposition are being invited into the TRS and the TDP has been silenced by suspension from the Assembly. The Congress at best is dishing out a pathetic response to the government.

Given this state of things, it is the people of Telangana who will suffer ultimately due to corruption in such capital intensive projects. There will be no benefit then, for them, for having realized their dream of a separate State.

If corruption is to be the order of the day, what does it matter whether you are ruled by Telanganites, Seemandhras or Tamilians?
