With the Kapu agitation is all set to flare up again, power star-cum-politician Pawan Kalyan is back under fire from the rival parties for his inaction in questioning the failures of the NDA government at the Centre and the TDP government in Andhra Pradesh.
YSR Congress party youth wing leader Jakkampudi Raja lashed out at Pawan for keeping silent on the special category status issue and non-implementation of pre-poll promises made by the Chandrababu Naidu government.
“Pawan has lost his credibility as a politician. Nobody knows why he came into politics, why he floated a new party and why he is not taking active interest in politics,” Raja said.
He said since Pawan campaigned for the TDP-BJP combine in the last elections, he has a responsibility to question the two parties for their failures.
“You say you have no money to run the political party. But you don’t need money to take part in agitations against the governments and question them for their failures,” Raja said.
