Krishnam Raju was even made a Union Minister by the BJP. But when Chiru started Praja Rajyam, he joined him and was obliterated in the elections.
What does the opportunist do? He promptly jumps back into the BJP. But wiser to his tactics now, the BJP refused him a ‘ticket’ in the last elections.
As of now, for want of a better opportunity, Krishnam Raju is still continuing in the BJP. In Kakinada, to participate in a ‘Swacch Bharat’ campaign, Krishnam Raju opined that the entry of Rajnikanth would bolster the presence of the BJP down South.
“Rajnikanth first said that he doesn’t want anything to do with politics. He is now saying that he would enter politics if god permits him. This is a good sign and I hope that he will join the BJP,”said Krishnam Raju.
