Oppn Threatens To Call First T Bandh

All the Opposition parties in the Telangana State Assembly have joined together on the issue of farmers’ loan waiver in one go.

The opposition parties, barring the MIM, have jointly given a call for  Telangana State bandh  on October 10, protesting against what they termed the TRS Government’s attitude towards the farmers’ suicide issue.

The main opposition Congress, the TDP, the BJP, the CPI and CPM  have given the call for bandh on October 10.

Initially, following the suspension of all opposition members from the Legislative Assembly today, the TDP and BJP proposed to give a bandh call tomorrow (October 6) itself.

The Congress party leader in the House K Jana Reddy, however, felt that  it would be better to organize the bandh after touring the districts on the problems of farmers’.

Therefore, finally it was decided to call for the Bandh on October 10, as the TDP and BJP accepted this proposal.

The Congress party will be conducting ‘Rythu Bharosa Yatra’  in the Districts from October 6.

The TDP has decided to organize burning of the effigy of Government at all Assembly constituency headquarters protesting against the Government’s attitude  on loan waiver issue.

TDLP leader Ramana announced that the party leaders would burn the effigies of the TRS Government in all the districts on October 10, to protest the Government’s indifferent attitude towards the farmers.
