Finally, Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu seems to have got some clarity as to what to do with the NTR Trust Bhavan building located on Road No. 2, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
With the TDP state headquarters being shifted to Amaravati where the new and modern building is coming up, Naidu was in dilemma as to what to do with the mighty NTR Bhavan in Hyderabad.
Finally, he is learnt to have decided to start a women’s degree college in a portion of the building, while continuing the NTR Memoria Trust, NTR blood bank and model school in other portions.
Besides the degree college, Naidu also wants to open a competitive examination coaching centre in the remaining part of the building for economically weaker sections.
Sources said Naidu had instructed his party officials to start the NTR Memorial Women’s Degree College for the coming academic year itself. At last, the TDP president has taken a good decision to convert the party office into an educational institution.
If it happens, the Telangana TDP has to look for an alternative accommodation. After all not many people are left in the party, except Revanth Reddy and a few others. So, it can be operated from Revanth’s residence in MLA Quarters!
