When Ponnala Lakshmaiah was the president for Pradesh Congress Committee, there was large scale dissidence against him within the party.
From junior to senior, every leader was grumbling against his style of functioning. Finally, he had to step down following a series of complaints against him.
Now that Ponnala is jobless, it is his turn to grumble against the present leadership. On Tuesday, Ponnala expressed displeasure against TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy for not inviting him to the discussion on Warangal MP candidate’s selection for the ensuing by-election.
Uttam Kumar Reddy, TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and AICC observer Kunthia had a meeting at Gandhi Bhavan to discuss on the candidate to be fielded in Warangal MP by-election. The PCC failed to invite Ponnala, who belongs to Warangal district and also former PCC Chief.
After realizing the mistake, Uttam Kumar invited Ponnala over phone tendering apologies. But a dejected Ponnala expressed his anger at Uttam and said firmly that he will not attend the meeting.
