Naidu, KCR Vying For Publicity!

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his AP counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu have been vying with each other on garnering maximum publicity with their gimmicks, rather than concentrating on the development of their respective States.

This was pointed out by senior Congress leader Palvai Goverdhan Reddy on Friday.

He alleged that for the last few weeks, KCR and Naidu had focused only on conducting Godavari Pushkaralu for publicity and nothing else, leaving the governance to winds.

He said people in both the State were cursing the two Chief Ministers for encouraging corruption in their States.

Despite the prevailing drought situation in the two Telugu States, the chief ministers are least bothered about agriculture sector and no steps were being taken for completion of irrigation projects, he charged.

There is urgent need for implementation of a perfect plan of action for extending a helping hand to farming community beside completion of irrigation projects, he suggested.

Though Chandrababu Naidu was going ahead with the Pattiseema project, his Telangana counterpart KCR remained calm, he objected.

“KCR should raise his voice against this project and ensure that the Telangana region was not to put to loss by it”, he said.

The parliamentary standing committee opined that Pranahitha-Chevella project was not feasible, he said, adding that Maharashtra Government’s consent was required for it to be completed.
