'Inception' we all thought was impossible. Not anymore! What exactly does it mean? Well, in basic parlance it may be defined as infiltrating the mind of an individual and planting an idea in his head.
Normally, it takes two layers of dreams to do it and even then, the idea is rejected by the victim once he wakes up.
So there is a third layer of dream which if successful would make the victim feel as if the planted idea in his mind was his original idea and not inserted in his mind. He then believes in and implements the idea with zeal.
Technical jargon apart, someone seems to have successfully implanted ‘inception’ in the minds of Chandrababu Naidu and KCR.
Here are the three layers of Naidu’s dreams.
Layer 1: Just have a look at what he has lined up: three megacities, 11 smart cities, 13 airports, 14 seaports, 26 special economic zones, national investment and manufacturing zones in Prakasam and Chittoor districts, Vizag as IT hub, agro-industries, IIM, IIT, AIIMS, petro-chemical and petroleum industrial region, steel plant, LNG terminals at Gangavaram and Kakinada, automobile and logistics hub at Vijayawada, expansion of Bharat Electronics Ltd in Machilipatnam, a ‘missile park’ in Avanigadda - well, it’s unending.
Layer 2: State-of-the art capital city modeled along the lines of Singapore in which farmers do not exist and making Lokesh the CM of AP and if possible, Telangana.
Layer 3: Naidu becoming the PM of India.
Now let us have a look at KCR’s three layers.
Layer 1: becoming the CM of Telangana and making the Telugu people enemies forever
Layer 2: Transform the city of Hyderabad into a software hub like Silicon Valley and a hardware hub like Shanghai, KG to PG free education, skyscrapers around Hussain Sagar etc etc.
Layer 3: Unfortunately we don’t know the dreams in this layer as only a superhuman can accomplish the goals in layer 2. So, we will have to wait and watch.
So, next time before criticizing Naidu or KCR, think for a moment! It is not their fault. Somebody has done ‘Inception’ on them.
Unless that ‘Leonardo Di Caprio’ is caught, these politicians will not wake up and we will have to suffer their dreams.
