YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s comment that Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu was not a “Mukhya Mantri” (chief minister), but a “Mukhya Kantri” (chief looter), seems to have gone down well into the common people.
The comment has been trending in the social media for the last two days with tremendous response from the netizens.
The comment under the hashtag -- #MukhyaKantriCBN has been retweeted by over 7,000 people on the twitter. And the count is going up still.
Jagan made an aggressive attack on the chief minister stating that the latter had failed to implement even a single promise he had given to various sections of people including farmers, women, unemployed and minorities.
“The chief minister is known for his duplicity, double-dealing and treachery. And now, he is coming before you to seek votes again. There is nothing wrong, if people like Naidu are gunned down on streets in public glare,” Jagan said.
He alleged that Naidu had amassed huge wealth of over Rs 3.5 lakh crore by indulging in various scams right from land pooling in Amaravati to illegal sand mining, Jagan said with the ill-gotten money, the TDP president had lured 21 YSR Congress party MLAs into his party by offering them posts and cash.
