Seemingly immune to any form of criticism, Nara Lokesh has once again presided over a meeting of Ministers and MLA's gathered to discuss the 'smart cities and villages' concept being pioneered by the TDP.
It is baffling to see all protocol being thrown to the winds as Lokesh who is neither an MP, MLA nor a Minister take charge of proceedings and pull up and question the Ministers or MLA’s for their performance and offer suggestions to them.
As for the Ministers and MLA’s, they seem to have put aside all self-respect in bowing down to the leadership of Naidu and Lokesh.
What’s worse is that Ministers like Ganta Srinivasa Rao are supporting Lokesh openly in this regard.
“There is nothing wrong in Lokesh holding review meetings with ministers and elected representatives as he is an integral part of the working group constituted to work as a bridge between the TDP and the state government to monitor various schemes,” the minister told the media.
What more can one expect from opportunists ministers like Ganta who make it a point to switch over to that party on the eve of elections which has maximum chances of victory.
