It looks like Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is laying foundation for the dynastic rule for at least next two generations.
While his son K T Rama Rao and daughter Kalwakuntla Kavitha have already been playing important role in the TRS politics as minister and MP, his nephew Harish Rao has silently established his own empire in Siddipet constituency. And now, KTR’s son Himanshu is gradually establishing his mark in the party as well as government.
Wherever KCR is going – whether it is a party meeting or a public function, a temple visit or a project site, HImanshu is making his presence felt everywhere. Even at the inauguration of the Chief Minister’s camp office the other day, Himanshu was by the side of KCR and without him, no ceremony goes further.
There were instances when Himanshu visited even State Secretariat and walked into his grandfather’s chamber caring a damn for the security restrictions. He had entered talked to the officials in the CM’s office.
Even at the Ganesh Chaviti celebrations, he took the mike and spoke to media, stating that he had come to pray for the well-being of his family and people of the state.
And on Wednesday, Himanshu appeared again along with KCR at the Christmas celebrations organised by the state government. And when KCR cut the cake, he offered the first piece to his grandson, rather than Christian priests, much to their disappointment.
May be, KCR is teaching politics to Himanshu and how to show power at the public functions!
